Victor founded La Jolla Economics Inc., an economics consulting firm. From 2004 to 2016 he was an advisor to the Lazard Capital Allocator Series. From 1993 to 1998, he was Chief Investment Officer, Director of Research and portfolio manager at Calport Asset Management. From 1989 to 1997 he was President and Director of Research at AB Laffer, VA Canto and Associates. Victor has been an advisor to governments and a tenured finance and economics professor at the University of Southern California. Victor is the author of numerous books, including Understanding Asset Allocation and Cocktail Economics. His papers and articles have been published by numerous economic journals and business publications. He earned a M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and B Sc. in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Clay is a partner at CSS LLC., a proprietary trading firm located in Chicago. He has years of experience in option pricing, trading, portfolio risk management and creator of the first Risk Control department at O’Connor & Associates. Previously, Clay was a managing director of Swiss Bank Corporation, holding various positions, including co-head of equities and co-head of global risk control. From 1981 to 1991, he was a partner at O’Connor & Associates where he was the head of equities, risk and new products. He is a member of the board of directors of the O’Connor Partnerships, a private investment firm and was an investor and board member of the Prediction Company LLC. – a quantitative trading advisory that was purchased by UBS in 2005. Clay is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
